A little note

No matter how much we complain about little things that, to us, feel huge, there is always someone out there who has things much worse.  This can run the gambit from no job, no home, to someone like my friend, Amy.  Amy has an awesome little girl name Emma.  This kids has it going on! Unfortunately, she also has Type 1 diabetes.  This kills her mother every day with worry.  I can’t help but feel for her and wish there was something I could do to help her, her husband, or Emma.  Amy loses sleep worrying or having to correct blood sugars.
I cannot imagine having to do what she does, which as she puts it, be a surrogate pancreas for her daughter. Amy, even though we are thousands of miles apart, me in Texas and you in Canada, know I am here for you and you are definitely one of my heroes, as is that amazing little girl of yours.

If anyone reading this can help, PLEASE donate to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation  and check out Amy’s blog.

Thanks
